General terms and conditions of business

1. Scope

Lewa spirits GmbH operates a webshop under the name “Lewa spirits”. The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) regulate the contractual relationship between Lewa spirits GmbH and customers who purchase goods via this web shop.

The offers on our website are non-binding. They only apply as long as a product is available. The inventory is not publicly displayed. Price and range adjustments remain reserved.

3. Order and conclusion of contract

By ordering online or by email, you are making a legally binding offer to conclude a purchase contract and accepting these General Terms and Conditions and the prices shown. A confirmation of the order will be sent to you by email. Lewa spirits GmbH reserves the right to contact the buyer if the order is unclear. The legally binding contract is only concluded when the order confirmation is sent by email.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF). Lewa spirits GmbH is subject to VAT.

5. Payment

Payment is only possible using the payment methods accepted in the webshop.

6. Delivery and Delays

We currently deliver in Switzerland. Delivery takes place from our Schwerzenbach warehouse. Delivery takes place within 2-3 working days (MON-FRI) after receipt of payment. If there are any stock backlogs, you will be informed immediately.

We are not liable for delivery delays caused by manufacturers, producers, third parties or by force majeure. You have the right to withdraw from the contract if the delivery delay is more than 30 days. We may invoice you for goods ordered from our online shop that are not accepted and returned to us (including shipping costs and other costs incurred).

7. Shipping costs

The shipping costs (packaging and transport) are CHF 8.90.
We deliver free of charge for orders over CHF 80.00.

8. Return Policy

You can return ordered goods to us within 7 working days of the shipping date at your own expense and risk. There is no right to return goods that have already been opened. The goods must be undamaged, complete and in their original packaging. A reason for the return must also be stated. If these criteria are met, you will receive a refund of the purchase price minus the shipping costs in accordance with Section 7. We may refuse a refund if the criteria listed in Section 8 are not met.

9. Warranty

If the delivered goods are defective, you can contact us by email within 5 days. You can return your order to us within 10 days and we will cover the shipping costs. If the item is returned to us late, the right to a refund will expire.

10. Final provisions

We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. If there are changes to the General Terms and Conditions, the new version will be immediately posted on the website and will apply from this point onwards.
These terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law.

Yerba Mate Pflanze

Herkunft

Die Mate-Pflanze wächst in den subtropischen Regionen Südamerikas und wird hauptsächlich in Argentinien, Paraguay, Uruguay und Südbrasilien angebaut.

Die verkleinerten Blätter wurden schon von den Ureinwohner
als Aufgussgetränk genossen.

Die Tradition entfaltete
sich weiter, denn Mate ist heute sogar das Nationalgetränk von Argentinien.

Koffein

Die Mate Blätter enthalten von Natur aus etwa 1% Koffein und gelten
daher als natürlichen Wachmacher. Der hohe Anteil an Gerbstoffen im Mate
verlangsamt jedoch die Aufnahme des Koffeins, was zu einer geschwächten aber
dafür längeren Wirkung führt.

Zubereitung

Getrunken wird Mate traditionell in einer Kalebasse (Flaschenkürbis) und
mit einer Bombilla (Trinkhalm mit Sieb).

Die Kalebasse etwa zur Hälfte mit Mate füllen, mit der Hand
verschliessen und so schütteln, dass sich die groben Stücke danach am Boden der
Kalebasse befinden. Anschliessend den Mate mit Wasser befeuchten, an eine Seite
der Kalebasse drücken und kurz stehen lassen. Zum Schluss vorsichtig mit 80°
heissem Wasser übergiessen und geniessen.

Mate als Vitaminbombe

Mate hat eine Menge toller Eigenschaften.

Er besitzt viele Antioxidantien sowie folgende Vitalstoffe: Zink, Eisen,
Kalium, Kalzium, Magnesium und die Vitamine A, B1, B2, C.

Zudem fördert Mate den Stoffwechsel und regt die Verdauung an, was ihn
schon fast zu einem Supergetränk macht.
